My teachers used to call them "Messy Spots", discouraging the usage of all margins on assignments to serve as an infinite canvas for my micro-musings. Now the curator of my own notes, I have continued to "make messy" every page in every notebook.
Not all are archivable, and so so many have been lost to the sands of time. But the ones I've miraculously held on to over the years are totally worth sharing. Mostly because their short stature makes them uniquely fun, but also so as to showcase the forever custom patterned world I live in. If you know me you know.
Almost meaningless in the moment, spare a rare few. But they pile up over time.
